YEAR OF THE WOOD SNAKE
Arc'teryx celebrated the 2025 Lunar New Year with a limited edition Alpha SV jacket featuring artwork by multidisciplinary artist Rostarr. The campaign needed to honour the cultural significance of the Year of the Snake while creating an elevated retail experience for this special release.
The snake symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and problem-solving in Chinese astrology - qualities that align with Arc'teryx's approach to technical design. Rostarr's abstract calligraphy and geometric visual language brought this symbolism to life through his distinctive "Graphysics" style.
We served as Creative Director for the campaign and designed custom packaging to enhance the guest experience - a specialized shopper bag, product communication cards, and traditional red envelopes to honour the Lunar New Year tradition of gifting prosperity and good luck.
The limited edition sold through quickly across Arc'teryx's global retail network.
