YEAR OF THE RABBIT

Arc'teryx celebrated the 2023 Lunar New Year with a limited edition collection honouring the Year of the Water Rabbit. The rabbit symbolizes balance, agility, and serenity in Chinese culture - qualities that mirror the athlete's ability to shift between intense focus and calm preparation.

The limited edition styles featured Alpha SV jackets and Atom LT Hoodies with custom rabbit artwork rendered in distinctive gradient embroidery. The design explored Yì - the balance between internal mental fortitude and external physical performance.

We served as Art Directors for the campaign, handling art direction, graphic design, and limited edition custom packaging. We collaborated with visual artist Zinan Lam from Shanghai and Arc'teryx athlete Alannah Yip, exploring where sport meets art through their shared approach to balance and flow. As Olympic athlete Roald Bradstock observed: "Sport and art are the two most universal languages we have. They enable us to express and connect physically, emotionally and intellectually, allowing us to communicate and build relationships globally."

We created a campaign video, digital landing page, and limited edition custom packaging - specialized shopper bags, product communication cards, and traditional red envelopes.

The limited edition collection sold through quickly across Arc'teryx's global retail network.
